Sigma Psi Zeta is an Asian-interest sorority founded at the University at Albany on March 23, 1994. The 10 Founding Mothers established the organization with the mission of nurturing the bonds of sisterhood and catering to the unique needs of a multicultural demographic. Sigma Psi Zeta has since grown to embody the beliefs of their Founding Mothers and become a sorority that celebrates unique cultural backgrounds and individual experiences. 

The Rho Chapter was founded at the University of Washington on November 22, 2003. Today, they embody the ideals of strong independent women, loyalty, allegiance, and dedication in the spirit of sisterhood.
