The establishment of Sigma Lambda Beta began when Baltazar Mendoza-Madrigal explored the idea of creating a social fraternity focused on Latino culture. The fraternity was founded on the objective of unifying the Latino community, which was divided among several social groups at the time.
The Phi Beta Chapter was established at the University of Washington on March 3, 2001. |
